The world's first dome resort
A quiet boutique retreat near Bengaluru — sustainable dome cottages for couples & small groups.
No queues, no rope courses, no loudspeakers. The city drops away the moment the curved walls close around you. Look up — the ceiling lifts, and your shoulders follow. This is a quiet boutique retreat for couples, families and small groups who came to slow down, not to be entertained.
Eleven dome cottages across five categories. Tap through to a live 30-night availability calendar and book the exact night on our official engine.

A stay designed around the five elements of nature — harmonising your senses with earth, water, fire, air and space.
Earth · Bhumi: pottery workshops, tree planting, reflexology walk, barefoot walking.
Water · Jala: private & common pools, floating breakfast, seasonal lake kayaking, terrarium.
Fire · Agni: campfire, candlelight dinner, grill nights under the stars.
Air · Vayu: outdoor movie nights, alfresco dining, djembe drum circle, karaoke.
Space · Akasha: telescope stargazing.
Why the dome: neuroarchitecture shows higher ceilings ease the vagus nerve and curved walls lower cortisol — calm is built into the geometry.
A day, roughly: check-in 1pm · pottery 4–5:30 · kayaking 5–6 · drum circle 7–7:30 · stargazing 8–8:30 · floating breakfast 8am · check-out 11am.
Our flagship experience — and the one we're building to lead South India. 287 celebrations in just the first half of 2025. New themes and setups added through the year, each with its own photos, inclusions and pricing.
Setups, photos, titles, descriptions and pricing here are managed live by the team — new themes go live without a code change.
Curves lower cortisol. The shape does the work.
Neuroarchitecture is real: higher ceilings open the mind and ease the vagus nerve; curved walls measurably lower stress hormones. We didn’t just build beautiful rooms — we built calm into their geometry. Step inside, and your nervous system notices before you do.
We believe this planet is not a gift from our ancestors but a loan from future generations. EL Domo Private Limited is among the first 200 companies worldwide to sign the One Planet Sustainable Tourism Programme.
“The forest is full of energy. To build there, we would have to destroy it. So we chose to conserve, not construct.”
Offered 80 pristine acres in Coorg, we commissioned a full ecological study — then handed the land back to its birds, butterflies and old-growth trees. The most sustainable decision is sometimes the one not to build at all.
Our regenerative vision. We don’t see this land as a gift from our ancestors but as a loan from future generations — and our goal is to return it in better shape than we found it. That means restoration over extraction: planting more than we take, healing the soil, and measuring our impact against documented evidence rather than slogans. EL Domo Private Limited is among the first 200 companies worldwide registered with the One Planet Sustainable Tourism Programme.
Sustainable construction. The dome is not just a shape — it is a quietly radical building decision. Its curved geometry encloses the most volume with the least surface area, so it needs less material to build and less energy to heat and cool. We build with the contour of the land rather than flattening it, keep existing trees standing, and choose low-impact materials wherever the structure allows.
Energy & water. Efficient lighting and appliances, careful water management, rainwater-aware landscaping and a steady, deliberate move toward renewable power. We’d rather under-promise and verify than over-claim — every number we publish is tracked toward our RTSOI and GSTC certification targets for November 2026.
Biodiversity. On site we protect existing habitats and let nature lead the planting. The clearest expression of this is our 80-acre parcel in the hills of Coorg: offered the chance to develop pristine forest, we commissioned a full ecological study, sat with the land, and chose to conserve rather than construct — handing it back to its birds, butterflies, civet cats and old-growth trees. Sometimes the most sustainable decision is the one not to build at all.
Zero-waste goals. We are working toward plastic-free operations under the Global Tourism Plastics Initiative and the Glasgow Declaration on Climate Action in Tourism — reducing single-use plastic, segregating and composting waste, and closing loops wherever the kitchen and housekeeping allow.
Community & culture. Sustainability is also social. We work with local artisans (our pottery studio is run with neighbouring craftspeople), source food and materials locally to shorten supply chains, employ and train from the surrounding area, and invite guests into the conservation story rather than keeping it behind the scenes.

Curved walls and high ceilings measurably lower stress hormones. Here’s the neuroarchitecture behind why a dome feels different the moment you step inside.
