The world’s first dome resort
We didn’t set out to build another resort. So there are no queues, no rope courses, no loudspeakers here — just the city falling away the moment the curved walls close around you. Look up, and the ceiling lifts; your shoulders follow. Come slow down with us — you don’t have to be entertained.
We’ve stacked a handful of things here you won’t find together anywhere else near Bengaluru — tap any one to see why.
A whole evening — not just a room. We choreograph the night around the five elements: stargazing, drums, fireflies and candlelight. You leave with a day you’ll retell, not just a place you slept.
A dome stay you simply can’t get elsewhere — paired with experiences you won’t find bundled anywhere near Bengaluru, from in-dome sound baths to candlelight dinners under open sky.
A Sky Quality Meter reading of 15–20 at the northern horizon, away from the city glow, brings the planets and the moon into our telescope — weather and the night sky permitting.
You’re beside a quiet 60-acre lake: seasonal kayaking, birdsong through the day, and the very clay your pottery is thrown from.
Over 100 bird species have been documented on the adjacent lake — see the eBird hotspot. Binoculars at reception; guided walks on request. Meet the 73 birds →
Our flagship celebration dining, and one of South India’s finest — a private candlelight setup under the stars, your menu, your décor. From ₹3,000 onwards.
The floating breakfast you’ve saved from Bali reels — brought to your own pool. Worth ₹2,500+, included in select packages.
The only sound bath held inside a dome in Karnataka. The dome gathers and aligns energy and its acoustics open the mind; a sound-healer travels in at sunrise. ₹3,000/couple, limited slots.
Throw a pot with a traditional potter family from the neighbouring village, using clay drawn from the lake next door.
Most of it is already in the package — floating breakfast, pottery, stargazing, the drum circle and more. No drip-pricing, no gimmicks: what you see is what you get.
Eleven dome cottages across five categories. Tap through to a live 30-night availability calendar and book the exact night on our official engine.

Every dome is air-conditioned and ensuite — We’ve tucked the sustainable comforts into the small things, so you can just settle in and breathe.
All five categories sleep two with the same core comforts — here’s what sets them apart.
Dome Life — a stay designed around the five elements of nature — harmonising your senses with earth, water, fire, air and space.

A Sky Quality Meter reading of 15–20 at the northern horizon — outside the city’s glow — gives a decent view of the planets and the moon through our telescope.
* The experience is subject to weather and the presence of objects in the night sky.
Specially arranged on request with a traditional potter family from a neighbouring village — shaped from clay drawn from the adjacent lake.
A morning session held inside the energy-multiplying dome. A dedicated sound-healing professional travels in at sunrise for it. We’re the only sound bath held inside a dome in Karnataka — and domes are no accident: their energy-gathering form is used everywhere from Rashtrapati Bhavan to temples to the Vatican. A dome absorbs and aligns the universal energy around it, and its acoustics are near-perfect for a sound bath — opening up the mind in a way you won’t have felt elsewhere.
A few of its benefits: deep relaxation and stress relief, a nervous-system reset, calmer and deeper sleep, sharper mental clarity, and gentle emotional release.
Limited slots — pre-booking required.
A floating breakfast worth ₹2,500+ is included in the package on select rooms.
For the sessions where we arrange a visiting professional — pottery and the sound bath — we ask guests to sign up in advance and arrive punctually, in comfortable clothing, so the experience stays relaxing for everyone.
A gentle rhythm, not a fixed schedule — here’s how a day tends to unfold.
* Exact timings vary by day and season — please confirm at check-in or with your room host.
Our flagship experience — and the one we're building to lead South India. 500+ celebrations annually. New themes and setups added through the year, each with its own photos, inclusions and pricing.
Setups, photos, titles, descriptions and pricing here are managed live by the team — new themes go live without a code change.
Curves lower cortisol. The shape does the work.
Neuroarchitecture is real: higher ceilings open the mind and ease the vagus nerve; curved walls measurably lower stress hormones. We didn’t just build beautiful rooms — we built calm into their geometry. Step inside, and your nervous system notices before you do.
We believe this planet is not a gift from our ancestors but a loan from future generations. EL Domo Private Limited is among the first 200 companies worldwide to sign the One Planet Sustainable Tourism Programme.
“The forest is full of energy. To build there, we would have to destroy it. So we chose to conserve, not construct.”
We were offered 80 pristine acres in Coorg — and handed them straight back to the birds, butterflies and old-growth trees that already called it home. We chose an alternate site instead, and commissioned a full ecological study there too, to understand its ecology before we touched it. The most sustainable decision is sometimes the one not to build at all.
A few small things from you go a long way here: carry your own dental kit and toiletries · refuse single-use plastic and refill your bottle · go easy on water and power, switching off when you step out · keep a respectful distance from the birds and wildlife (no feeding) · and segregate your waste at the bins provided.
Our regenerative vision. We don’t see this land as a gift from our ancestors but as a loan from future generations — and our goal is to return it in better shape than we found it. That means restoration over extraction: planting more than we take, healing the soil, and measuring our impact against documented evidence rather than slogans. EL Domo Private Limited is among the first 200 companies worldwide registered with the One Planet Sustainable Tourism Programme.
Sustainable construction. The dome is not just a shape — it is a quietly radical building decision. Its curved geometry encloses the most volume with the least surface area, so it needs less material to build and less energy to heat and cool. We build with the contour of the land rather than flattening it, keep existing trees standing, and choose low-impact materials wherever the structure allows.
Energy & water. Efficient lighting and appliances, careful water management, rainwater-aware landscaping and a steady, deliberate move toward renewable power. We’d rather under-promise and verify than over-claim — every number we publish is tracked toward our RTSOI and GSTC certification targets for November 2026.
Biodiversity. On site we protect existing habitats and let nature lead the planting. The clearest expression of this is our 80-acre parcel in the hills of Coorg: offered the chance to develop pristine forest, we commissioned a full ecological study, sat with the land, and chose to conserve rather than construct — handing it back to its birds, butterflies, civet cats and old-growth trees. Sometimes the most sustainable decision is the one not to build at all.
Zero-waste goals. We are working toward plastic-free operations under the Global Tourism Plastics Initiative and the Glasgow Declaration on Climate Action in Tourism — reducing single-use plastic, segregating and composting waste, and closing loops wherever the kitchen and housekeeping allow.
Community & culture. Sustainability is also social. We work with local artisans (our pottery studio is run with neighbouring craftspeople), source food and materials locally to shorten supply chains, employ and train from the surrounding area, and invite guests into the conservation story rather than keeping it behind the scenes.

The Dome Retreats, Rajanukunte, Bengaluru — ~45 min from Bengaluru Airport.
The Dome is a parasympathetic, neuro-architecture retreat — curved walls and high ceilings that quiet the nervous system, paired with serene, unhurried amenities and experiences. We’d rather be honestly the right fit than quietly the wrong one.
…you’re after an action-packed, adventure-sports day. There’s no rope course or activity circuit here — and a mismatch only leads to a flat stay and an unfair review. If that’s the weekend you want, we’d genuinely rather help you find it:
