The Dome Retreats is a boutique dome-glamping resort in Rajanukunte, North Bengaluru — built, we believe, as the world's first resort of its kind to put guests to sleep inside a dome. Eleven quiet cottages across five categories sit within a curved, neuro-architecture setting designed to slow the nervous system down: high ceilings, soft curves, and a deliberate absence of hurry.
We're couple-focused and celebration-led — candle-light dinners, floating breakfasts, stargazing, and quiet milestones are what we're built for, more than an activity-packed itinerary. Our marketing has always run on real guest experiences and influencer stories rather than paid advertising, and that's intentional: we'd rather be honestly the right fit for the right guest than everything to everyone.
Our story
The Dome Retreats was founded to answer a simple question: what would a stay look like if it were designed around rest, not itinerary? The dome form itself was chosen for what it does to a nervous system — curved surfaces and open ceilings read as calmer to the brain than a boxed room. Every cottage, experience, and ritual on the property (from the Candle Light Dinner to our sound-bath and floating-breakfast experiences) has been built around that same idea: slow down, and actually rest.
