Highly recommend for families. The staff(specially Muttu) deserves a special mention for being so warm and attentive—they helped us with baby food prep, which was a huge relief. The rooms were spacious, delicious food and the overall atmosphere was relaxing. A memorable experience!!

The Highlights: Food & Service
The absolute highlight of our stay was the service. The staff is incredibly friendly and proactive; any concern we had was addressed almost immediately. This level of hospitality is rare and truly appreciated.
The food was also exceptional. Almost everything we ordered was delicious, and the candlelight dinner in the open space was a fantastic experience. The combination of the decor and the quality of the meal made for a memorable evening. (A small suggestion: real candles instead of artificial ones would elevate the vibe even further!)

Areas for Improvement
While we enjoyed the “Dome” concept, there are several areas where the experience fell short for the price point:
* Activities: There is a significant lack of things to do during the day. While the focus is on the stay and dinner, guests need more engagement options to avoid “boring time.” There is a lot of room for growth here.
* Room Maintenance: The restroom had a persistent bad odor, which was quite unpleasant. Additionally, for the price charged, we expected a basic toiletry kit to be provided, but it was missing.
* Amenities: The TV was frustratingly slow to boot—to the point where we gave up on using it. Hot water also took a considerable amount of time to reach the tap.

Final Verdict
If the pricing were lower, this would easily be a 4.5-star stay because the people and food are so wonderful. However, for a premium resort, the infrastructure and activity list need to catch up to the service quality.

Such a nice experience!
Wonderful view, great location, friendly staff, tasty and affordable foods.
The candle night dinner charge was extra but had good menu options and nice setup, worth the price.
We enjoyed indoor games, mini golf and all other activities.

Floating breakfast in Jacuzzi was one of the best of its kind and can be a good one night destination near Bengaluru.

What a wonderful place to stay! Our host, Jatin, was incredibly kind and very prompt with all our requests. The highlight of our stay was definitely the private jacuzzi; it was absolutely worth it and something I’d highly recommend. The food was delicious, and the staff were extremely helpful, polite, and welcoming throughout. Overall, a lovely experience and a place I’d happily recommend.

This is one best place to have in the city limits.
Be it neatness, taste of the food, availability of games n activities, special shout out to Mr. Nandish who organised all the activities like drums, stargazing n other plays. Every person in the premises were polite n helpful in some o the other way at the stay.
I would recommend you to book a manasa classic especially if u have a kid below 5-6 years coz they enjoy the splash pool utmost.
Everything at this resort is made so convenient and at your service through a call.

Amazing service and hospitality. Very innovative idea using WhatsApp for communication with staff. Loved the jacuzzi/floating breakfast in our room and all the planned activities. Activities were amazing for all ages. We loved the pottery making, drum lessons and Saturn/star gazing!

The property is spacious, but all the amenities are concentrated in one area, making it feel quite compact, while the rest is mainly used for parties and weddings. They could have built more activity areas and bigger pool for that matter. Hence, for the price, it doesn’t feel worth it. Breakfast option is also very limited. In continental breakfast which is a set menu, they provide bread, conflakes, cut fruits and juice. There are definitely better getaway options around Bangalore for that price. The splash pools are also not very well maintained. The activities like pottery and drum circle is there which is good but for the pottery the person who teaches will be there at the property only for an hour and if there are more people you might miss your chance. The dome stay is the only hype, but honestly, you won’t miss out on anything if you skip it.

The place was great with plenty of engaging activities! All the food we ordered was just perfect—great taste and the right portions. The serene lake view made for a peaceful spot to relax in the evenings, with lots of birds swimming around. Ending the day with moon gazing in the open ground was simply magical.
The rooms were cozy and warm, and the idea of having a jacuzzi under the open sky yet within private walls was such a unique touch!
The staff were super quick and always ready to help, making everything smooth and comfortable.
Overall, it was a wonderful one-day stay filled with relaxation and comfort—I’d definitely recommend it!

This stay with my best friend was our first ever staycation, and Dome Retreats made it truly memorable.
The property is beautiful, green, calm, and extremely peaceful—perfect for unwinding. We stayed in a room with a private splash pool called Manasa Anuraga 2, and the room was very cozy, lovely, and comfortable.
Hot and cold water were available at all times. They do not provide packaged drinking water due to their sustainability goals, which I really appreciated. Instead, water is served in copper bottles, and drinking water is promptly provided whenever requested.
The food deserves a special mention—absolutely delicious! Everything tasted fresh and flavorful, and we genuinely loved the meals.
Games & activities were plenty:
Indoor games like chess, snake & ladder, and ludo
Outdoor games including table tennis, cricket, badminton, archery, volleyball, etc.
Paid activities such as golfing and kayaking
Pottery (we made a small cup—such a fun and meaningful learning experience!)
Drum beating and telescope-based stargazing (which we unfortunately missed)
All activities are well organized with clear timings. They create a WhatsApp group for each room, which makes communication, orders, and updates extremely smooth and convenient.
One fun highlight—we actually won pani puri plates after playing golf with the trainer 😄
We requested snacks and pani puri to be served on our room terrace, and the staff happily arranged it. The onion pakodas were crisp and delicious, the pani puri was fresh and tasty, and even the tea was excellent.
We chose to have dinner in our room. The butter naan and prawn curry were ordered—while the prawns were unfortunately uncooked and had a smell (this can definitely be improved), the paneer starter was very good, and overall the food experience remained positive.
The evening was relaxed—we played indoor games, watched music on TV, and went for a calm walk around the property.
I want to especially mention that this place felt extremely safe for girls. Our families kept checking on us at night, but I can confidently vouch for the safety here.
The next morning, we joined the bird-watching session at the lake around 7 AM. It was cold, foggy, and absolutely breathtaking. Once the fog cleared, we watched beautiful birds through binoculars and clicked some lovely pictures near the lake. A truly magical experience 😍
We then enjoyed a beautiful pool breakfast provided in water which had a wide variety of items on the menu. Everything we tried was very good and well prepared.
This resort is also very kid-friendly—with wooden horses, giraffes, baby chairs, and thoughtful touches everywhere. As a mother, I loved seeing all of this 😊
The staff and reception team were incredibly kind, polite, and helpful throughout our stay.
We checked out at 11:00 AM, feeling relaxed and refreshed
Overall, Dome Retreat is 100% worth staying at.
I would definitely come back again with my kids and family.

We had a very comfortable stay at the resort. They had various complimentary activities planned for the day like star gazing, floating breakfast, drum circle and pottery which we thoroughly enjoyed. The facilities were very clean and hotel staffs were very responsive. They also had various options for outdoor games which brought the entire family together and our kid also enjoyed very much.

Had an amazing experience at The Dome Retreat. From the Manasa Royal 2, private jacuzzi, drums, kayaking, bird watching and a beautiful candle light dinner was fun and memorable. The food was so good . Panner tikka masala was lick smacking. Hi fi to the chef.
Rooms were clean and maintained.
Service was vey good. A whatsapp group was created and any requirement was met in a jiffy.
Nandish was very helpful and patiently explained from kayaking and engaged all he people in drums. It was a fun night.
Shiva was amazingly helpful and super fast in he service. A hardworking and kind person and provided all info on our stay.
Coming back again here for sure

Service is good, location and surrounding is great. Their team is very responsive and the activities like dumb beat, karaoke was entertaining and lively. Food is great.Rooms need to be upgraded in terms of washroom and bedsheets. Almost 8k for rooms (food separate) but beds were like hospital beds. Bathroom tiles are slippery, taps are loose and it doesn’t work as required.

We were a group of 5 friends (adult males), stayed for a night in the resort in the executive rooms. Had a very good experience. Location of the resort is ideal, close to highway and next to a serene lake. Place is maintained well. Room size was fine but bathroom is small. Food is good. Service and staff behaviour was excellent. Had a very nice time.

Lunch and dinner was good with enough options. The activities were fun.

I visited this place on 6th November 2025 and stayed in the Maansa Premium 2 category dome. The overall experience was simply amazing—every service exceeded my expectations!

All the staff members were polite and humble, but a special mention goes to Raj, who truly made our stay exceptional. His professionalism, warmth, and attention to every small detail were outstanding. Raj constantly checked in to ensure we were comfortable and enjoying our time. The way he handled everything with a smile and genuine care made us feel like valued guests.

Had an amazing time at Dome Retreat! Right from the moment we arrived, the hospitality was top-notch. The staff were incredibly well-mannered, polite and quick to respond to anything we needed. The rooms were super clean and comfortable making the stay even more relaxing.

The food was absolutely delicious with a great variety to enjoy. We had fun with some indoor games, pottery and a very clean swimming pool. The campfire at night was a highlight complete with drumming and karaoke.A special thanks to Nandesh for teaching us how to use the drums and making the night memorable!

In the morning, we enjoyed bird watching with binoculars which was a peaceful and refreshing experience in the calm surroundings.

This retreat is located at outskirts of Bengaluru. The retreat has unique architecture. The rooms are spacious. The internal furnishing could have been better. The ambience is quite. Activities wise pottery, drum circle etc are present. Badminton, archery, table tennis etc are also present, but as they are outside, they aren’t much useful. The food is good here. Book this place if you are a couple and looking for Instagram-able and serene resort.

My stay at The Dome Retreats was amazing! It felt like being close to nature all the time. I loved sitting around the bonfire in the evening, playing drums with other guests, and enjoying the peaceful sounds of the outdoors. The pottery lessons were so much fun and a great way to try something new. I spent plenty of time just relaxing and soaking in the natural beauty around me. Kayaking on the water was another fantastic experience. This place is perfect if you want to slow down, have great experiences, and enjoy nature fully. I can’t wait to come back!

It is a good resort having some unique amenities like Pottery which was really a good experinece. Kayaking was fun. Both the lawn area were quite big & kids can enjoy with their games. Staff were helpful. Overall a good place to stay.

The resort is very beautiful and has a dome based architecture. Loved the hospitality. Staff was well trained. It’s nestled besides a lake and they have lot of amenities like mini golf, outdoor play area, kayaking, bird watching, pottery , swimming pool and hot jacuzzi. Highly recommended for the staycation.

We would love to say that the heart and mind behind making Dome Retreats was and is really beautiful and mind-blowing.Each and Every thing is Mindfully crafted with heart to connect nature and us! We could feel it as our home and own play area.
We enjoyed every cute stone fountain till the end the lake watching the birds and doing kayaking watching the beautiful sunset.The food was ultimately delicious 🤤, coming to the activity part Mr.Nandeesh thought us how to Use the drums and helped us learning the drum beats,we were happy we could learn something new,under the moon light(it was a full moon) Also we did karoke , poured out all emotions through the songs, every rock witnessed it😅and we enjoyed the campfire in freezing night.
Also i discovered that people enjoyed private parties which u can customise accordingly.They are also open for the events.Overall it’s a beautiful place to hangout with your family or friends or even if u r coming solo 🥰

We recently stayed at dome retreats and absolutely loved it. Our room has a jacuzzi also. And the room was so spacious and clean. Ambiance was so so good. Hi, I visited Dome retreat in the month of September. We were 2 adults and 2 kids and took Manasa classic room with the splash pool. Firstly, when I entered the resort didn’t expect it to be that great, but I was wrong. The rooms were quite spacious and well maintained, they provide steel water bottles(quite sustainable). We had a hole in the wall kind of window which we loved sitting, like a cute corner of the room. There was echo in the rooms, thanks to the dome shape I believe. The bathroom was quite spacious too, which I think was a plus point. Coming to the splash pool outside, it was one of the best experiences we had as it was private for us and the kids loved it. The water was regular tap cold water.If it was warmer, we would have tried the breakfast in pool option.
About the facilities and things to do outside the room-we tried pottery for first time which was fun, lot of open space for kids to play and run around. Some games for kids to play. They have a drums session in the night which was really fun and engaging as we got to play the drums ourselves(first time again).they have a private lake where we tried the rafting for the first time too-quite a thrilling experience. Lastly the food was quite delicious, made to order. Breakfast spread was decent and healthy. Overall I would say we had one of the best staycation. Definitely recommend!!

I booked a royal room which was very clean and well maintained. The campus has a restaurant, two tyre swings for kids, a swimming pool and many other things that make it feel just right. Jacuzzi was very big and comfortable. I would highly recommend this place for a perfect vacation

*No hot water in jacuzzi( that too in Bangalore weather )
*Our jacuzzi wasn’t clean . it floated with dirts and dried leaves. We found beer bottle caps near jaccuzi
*We stayed in manasa premium near jacuzzi there is a big tree which covers half space. Very congested
*The way to jacuzzi door was cracked and couldn’t able to close it properly..
Evening time lot of mosquitoes were bit us due to that jacuzzi door
*We didnt have peaceful sleep bcoz that door was not properly closed there is a huge open gap we’re scared of any reptilian would come inside.
*No Wi-Fi worked we repeatedly informed in group regarding Wi-Fi issue they keep on told us to restart and refresh it.( day finished)
*Their friendly check out reminder irritated very much any way that’s not our home to stay long so we know to checkout at time
Restroom is kind of creepy and toilet seat cover is not fixed seems like broken
*While paying our balance amount we found some foods added to our bill which we didn’t ordered luckily we saw summary of our dinner.
May sound rude but if we pay huge for something we expect quality and worth

If you are looking for okay resort. Then this the fine. Do not expect luxury. It’s a basic resort. Only thing good was drum activity. Food was of low quality like road side food with so much oil and not so great taste. They don’t have hot water jacuzzi. Kayaking was not there. We saw lake was dried up. I am rating it 3. As everything was okay. Not so great.

We had a wonderful stay at the Domes Retreat Resort. Had asked to arrange for a candle light dinner as it was my husband’s birthday. To my surprise the room was lit so well with a romantic set up.. just perfect and couldn’t as for more.. Best experience ever!!!
Helpful and courteous staff, attended all our needs immediately. Service was too good with tasty food that was served for breakfast as well as dinner.
Floating breakfast that I was dreaming of.. we loved it!
Other activities like drum session and pottery, there’s kayaking as well..
Overall a unique experience to relax and unwind!!

This dome stay is a next level experience. Nothing like it. The cleanliness in the rooms to the services from the staff. Especially Mr. Shiva. Very professional, available anytime. He even helped us set up the candle light dinner in a very short period of time. Very happy with the stay. A must visit place for its hospitality and calmness.

I recently stayed at Dome Retreats and it was truly a memorable getaway. The dome accommodation itself was a unique highlight — blending the comforts of a luxury stay with a close connection to nature. Waking up to scenic views from within the cozy dome created a sense of peace and relaxation that’s hard to match.
One of the standout features was the well-organized BBQ setup right by our dome. Being able to grill under the open sky, surrounded by nature, and then gather around a warm campfire made for perfect evenings. The experience felt both adventurous and comfortable, ideal for families or groups of friends.
A special mention goes to the drum sessions by the campfire. Joining in with others to play the drums created such an energetic, joyful atmosphere — it was a great way to connect with fellow guests and enjoy the night. The campfire itself was inviting, perfect for storytelling, music, and simply unwinding after an eventful day.

A truly refreshing escape at The Dome Retreat Resort!
We stayed in the cozy dome room, surrounded by nature and perfect for a peaceful retreat. Waking up to the sound of birds humming was magical. The breakfast served in the pool was such a relaxing and unique touch!

Evenings were just as special with stargazing under the open sky. The resort also offers a few fun sports activities to keep you active. But the highlight was the drum circle and pottery session by Nandhish — full of energy, creativity, and great vibes.

Highly recommend for those looking to unwind, reconnect with nature, and enjoy meaningful moments!

This destination is ideal for a weekend getaway, offering a serene atmosphere surrounded by lush greenery and a variety of indoor and outdoor activities, including candlelight dinners under the stars. The staff are polite and helpful, and the food is also good. Although CCTV coverage is adequate, the property’s security could be improved, in terms of door locks and security personnel. Ample parking is available for those driving, but at the owner’s risk.

The review is regarding marriage point of view.
The Dome resort is an ideal destination for wedding. There are two blocks to stay and each block has very good rooms. The one nearer to the wedding lawn has more luxurious rooms than the other. The food served by catering is a companion to make the marriage good. (for catering contact Mr.Rajesh Venue owner.)
The lawn is huge enough to assemble around 350 to 750 people. The stage is big and you can get it decorated according to your choice and very reasonable.

I would say it’s good.
Service was too good. Loved it.
Activites are also good.
We can enjoy pottery, jacuzzi, drum beating.
Room was neat.
Affordable food.

I would say washroom need to be better. Some weird smell was there. Even though AC temperature was at 19-20C,we felt bit warmer. May be it’s not sufficient for the size of the room.

Overall it’s a good experience.

Absolutely beautiful and well maintained! From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the stunning surroundings, the attention to detail, and the warm welcome. Everything exceeded our expectations.

This place is a gem! The staff’s amazing welcome kicked off an unforgettable stay. My room was a dream — comfy, clean, and totally up-to-date. And the food? We celebrated our 6th anniversary. Awesome experience with that moon gazing . Tasty food good hospitality. Service superb. Shiva was our server for the night very humble and kind person. I would highly recommend for candle light dinner. Spend time with your loved one peacefully. No disturbance at all.

The stay was really good. If you’re looking for a peaceful quiet and cute getaway, this is the place for it. The rooms were very pretty and clean. The activities were different from other resorts. Loved the drum circle experience and pottery. The service was also very good. Especially Mr. Raj and Mr. Shiva were very helpful and made the stay a wonderful experience. I was here for just half day. As we had decided to travel like one day travel trip. Rooms are really great to be honest. I stayed in vatika premium which had jacuzzi. In entire 5 hours stay we spent 2.5 hours in jacuzzi and 2 hrs pool then lunch. The pool was very small and they give you free breakfast. But if you not staying overnight then you should get lunch or dinner as free complimentary. Other things we noted is that. there is no activities to spend time. Overall good for a day trip and its costly to be honest..

We booked anuraga Rooms here for 1 day on April 14-15.

The Rooms are good
This property is not worth for 6.5k / day for the facilities they are providing.

The restaurant is Average and there won’t be proper Waiter to attend you, we have to order on WhatsApp or call the waiter to take the order.

The games like cricket, football, and other games are just for namesake they have just kept the bat , ball and other things, you can’t call them as day outing by keeping such sports items.

The night Campfire and drum play is just for name sake, they lit the fire and play music, nothing else.

Overall i can give 3 star for the resort, you don’t feel to stay More than 1 day here .

Overall not satisfied for 6.5 k / day Price.
We get better 4 star hotel with Unlimited buffet breakfast with the same price and good ambience and service.

Kindly improve on restaurant and other activities in the resort.

Hello travellers, planning a weekend getaway with great resort and good food. do visit the dome retreat
a true definition of hospitality, great stay and awesome family trip. friendly and supportive staff. best part as soon as you check-in they create a whatsapp group, so no matter whatever you need just post on group and you get everything in your room.
all activities and events updates also keep coming on group.
we stayed for 2 nights over the weekend and it was super fun, from pottery making, to swimming in the pool to drumming sessions, to kayaking(seasonal) to bird watching and star gazing. everything was well organised and well planned.
You can even plan a date night /candle light dinner with amazing private setup, multiple options available.

The best part was all the rooms had private splash pools , so your morning breakfast instead of having it at the restaurant, you can have a floating breakfast in splash pool.
if you love food then this place serves lip smacking food…so fresh so tasty and flavourful and sufficient quantity. Great balance of flavour and spices.

We are very grateful to all the staff of the Dome Retreats for our recent stay. It is a very peaceful and clean place to stay. Though some of the food was very spicy for us(!), it was all delicious. It was an awesome experience…. Been there twice already in a span of one month. They are extremely humble and kind ….. the management are well understanding… the food was extremely delicious and healthy. All the extra activities arranged …. Pottery/ born fire/ sky gaze/kayaking ….. were extremely done well and the vendors are amazing individuals…. Truly a wonderful experience and a safe place….🙏🏻

Rooms are very spacious for a family of 4 and also if you have additional members then, they provide add on beds. Excellent stay, good food and water no problem. Share with your friends. Please do not dirty the place with plastic waste. Located on the ivc road near dravid school of excellence. Star gazing at night is one the best activity in this location. As we all know Doddabalapur and Chickbalapura both have lots of lakes nearby to spend the day time riding around in your bikes.

Nandi hills is also nearby and there are dirt bike trails nearby. Airport is 20 minutes. Bus service available but the frequency is very less. They have both hot and cold air conditioning with sustainable energy to light up the entire property at night. Hope they continue to maintain the property and the crowd visiting should maintain the sanity of the place. Old age people above 70 are not recommended. Though they can visit and see the place but nothing much activities for old folks. So please do not force your family elderly people along with you. They will get bored after few hours. Soon rope and zip lines are being installed in nearby farms and foothills for a greater view of the entire national highway. Very happy with the overall experience. Thank you.

Great unique architecture, well thoughtout designs. Wonderful landscape. Well maintained.
Great hospitality, where guests comfort is given top priority. True ‘service with smile’. Stayed for two nights, kids enjoyed immensely. Great food. Breakfast needs improvement.
I would like to specially mention Mr. Rakesh and Mr. Sunil, who always put their best to fulfil guest’s requirements. Had a great time. More activities would surely add to the experience.

We visited the resort a few months back. We enjoyed the stay. The early morning on the lake side was relaxing. People who like the silence and with the chirping of birds, it is an amazing. The jacuzzi was a good way to unwind, however, if the option of hot water was available, it would have been great! Friendly staff, good number of activities, peaceful environment, it is a place to unwind and enjoy with family and friends.

It was an amazing experience spending the day at The Dome Retreats.
Loved the proximity to Bangalore city.
The retreat had something for everyone in our group of around 10 people with kids too.
Everyone loved the floating breakfast theme.
Pottery, kayaking, bird watching, swimming, and nothing to beat the bonfire and African Drumbeats 🤩
Extremely friendly staff.
Extremely clean ambience.

Had pleasant stay in the resort. My family had 2 years kid to 68 years parent .. everyone were happy with this unique experience during the stay :)
– Dome stay was unique and great
– Food price was reasonable and good
– Activities and options like Pottery, BBQ, Fire camp & candle light dinner were attractive (especially with family)
– Highlight was floating Breakfast in the pool.. We loved it ;)

This is not a paid or forced review. But rather a very heart felt message.

It was a very nice experience. We carried lots of memories. The entire property is a beautiful place. The stay in the domes was a completely new and different experience.

The staff were very friendly and service and arrangements deserves 5 stars in its own

We had a candle light dinner in the garden for a birthday. The setup was top notch. The lighting, the cake arrangement, the music, the food preparation. No words !

The Floating Breakfast is a unique offering and concept and must try for anyone who have not tried it anywhere!

The food is very delicious and reasonably priced. In some places either the food is overpriced or they will not be tasty or both. But here it’s priced normally and tastes good too.

This is how resorts and hotels should be run! Completely recommend this place to anyone planning their trip here

I really wish that the quality of hospitality and everything else is maintained like this in the future.
